It all started in 2017…
I was living my childhood dream of playing college football.
It was a dream come true!
But that dream quickly became a nightmare.
Coach called me into his office to inform me that I was going to be cut from the team.
I was crushed!
Everything I had been working for since I could remember had just been ripped away from me!
Suddenly I was faced with that reality that I was unprepared.
I was completely broke.
I dropped out of college.
And sought out work.
I got a credit card and went into debt to pay for my relocation across the country to take up a job that was 100% commission knocking door to door trying to sell pest control.
I felt trapped.
I know what I can do, I know I am willing to work hard, but every opportunity I took seemed to keep leading back to the same stage.
“IF ONLY THERE WAS SOMEONE WHO COULD JUST SHOW ME WHAT TO DO!!!”
This statement changed my life! I took to Google and books.
I listened to hours of YouTube videos and podcasts.
I was determined to find the answer.
Then I decided to do something crazy.
I did the math and determined that if I had stayed in school I would have accrued roughly $60k in student loan debt.
I said to myself “If I was so willing to go $60,000 into debt just to graduate college, then I should still be willing to go $60,000 into debt to learn the skills that will make me the most money!”
So I applied for $60k in loans and credit cards and I committed to spending all that money on my own education!
Looking back now…it might seem crazy, but it was the best decision I could have made!
I couldn’t afford furniture at the time so I began with almost no money other than my debt, sitting on lawn chairs in my living room using a storage chest as a desk for my laptop and my white board to write my plans.
I spent all that money on business coaches, mentors, events and courses.
And you know something…
It actually worked!!
I couldn’t believe it!
The same methods of generating sales, scaling their business, marketing and building their brands that they were using, I started using.
I knew that if I just did what they did, I would achieve the same results that these coaches and mentors had achieved.
